Peaceful and quiet. Perfect location.
Positive: Perfect location. Peaceful and quiet. We visited Skipton for the day, which was a lovely town. Went on a canal boat trip. Went for a lovely Sunday lunch to the Buck Inn, which is only 2.5 miles from the Lodge. The pub also has a little shop selling essentials, if you needed anything. We got some eggs, sugar and biscuits from there.
Negative: The main bed was too firm for our liking, so we slept in the twin bedroom, which was fine.

Fabulous location and everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
Positive: The whole experience was lovely, just what we needed. The location was perfect. Excellent for your furs, safe and secure gardens.
Well equipped kitchen and enjoyed using the bbq. We were very lucky with the weather and loved seeing the sheep close to the property.

Radiator in living room was excellent, slow release
Negative: Pillows were uncomfortable
Duvet too thick and hot
Bedroom Lamp didn’t work, bulb has gone
Rugs in bedroom were a nuisance

This was a pleasant place to stay for one occasion and it was well equipped.
Positive: It was very clean and well cared for. Everything worked well and it was a quiet peaceful location with sheep nearby. The beds were comfortable and linen etc was provided. It had everything we needed except it would have been nice to have had some comfy garden chairs to relax in.
Negative: 1. The entrance and exit of property. The roads were narrow which is to be expected. However, the passing farm traffic was very worrying. The speeds they reached without due attention was quite frightening. Several times we had to break very hard as traffic came across the bridge or around blind corners exceptionally fast. It could do with some mirrors to help ascertain approaching traffic.
2. The noise of the water system during the night woke us up very regularly. This was disappointing as the location setting was rural and this was quite a setback to having uninterrupted sleep.
3. It was really nice to not have the owners visit the site …but the emails and texts before and during and after our visit were a constant intrusion. There is no need to ask for our ID credentials upon leaving the property in order to get an invoice. They had all our e mail and phone numbers etc. we paid with a UK bank card.

Peace quiet perfection
Positive: Gorgeous little place with everything you could need in the property. And tranquility outside with a visit from some sheep and security for our dog.
Negative: Nothing.
